** The playoff schedule is now posted. All teams are in the playoffs. They will be single game elimination until the finals which will be a best of 3 series. Please follow the following link to view the scehedule and brackets.

** If you team still owes any money please bring it to you next game. If the money is not paid by the you frist playoff game you will have an automatic forfeit!!!

 

** Please keep all the games clean. We have had several incidents. These will not be tolerated. REMEMBER WE ALL HAVE TO WORK IN THE MORNING!!!!! THIS IS A FUN LEAGUE...NOT THE NHL!!!!!

 

Captains are remined that if you team is not going to show to notifty the adminstration. You not showing up is not fair to the team your supposed to play.

We are also looking for commitee members for for the Rhode Island Firefighter Hockey Tournament. Let's get together and bring it back. It is always a good time but we have not had it since the fire in Cranston.

Welcome to Rhode Island Firefighters Hockey League web site. The league is comprised of teams representing the major full time union fire department in the State of Rhode Island. Each team is put together with players from their respective fire departments, police departments and local Adult Correctional Officers.

The league was developed several years ago to bring local public safety agencies together to create a stronger brotherhood and good old competition. The range of players varies from former professional hockey players to C level players creating a great mix of talent and sometimes some follies as well.

Hopefully, around May 2010 we will also be hosting the Annual Rhode Island Fire Hockey Tournament which is a charity event which brings in Fire and Police teams from around RI and from around the country. This is a great time and we encouraged you to come and see those games. We will keep you posted as the event comes closer.
